WALKING
Laroque Villa is perfectly situated for walking into the surrounding countryside and up into the Albères mountains. You can walk from the villa to Spain if you fancy a more strenuous trail.
There are many other local attractions such as Lac de Villeneuve-de-la-Raho, which offers a peaceful 7-kilometer trail for walkers and runners, or the coastal path from Argelès-sur-Mer to Collioure.
WEATHER
In Laroque des Albères during Autumn daytime temperatures are comfortable, often reaching 20-25°C, perfect for exploring. Days are often sunny and warm, creating an "Indian summer" atmosphere.
During the evening, temperatures do drop but are always warmer than the equivalent Northern European temperatures. The sea is still warm enough to enjoy, averaging around 20°C.
CYCLING
Laroque Villa is perfectly located for cycling in the Albères mountains and along the Mediterranean coast. Quiet country lanes and gentle bike routes take you through vineyards, olive groves, and charming villages, offering a true taste of southern France.
Guests can also take the dedicated “Voie Verte” cycle paths towards Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure, or the surrounding countryside, all at a relaxed pace. Two bikes are included with your stay.
