Stunning views surround the property in every direction. To the South, you have the Alberes mountain range, including Puig Neulós, the highest mountain in the range. To the North, the plains of Rousillon and beyond. To the West the tower of Laroque village and beyond to Canigou, the sacred mountain of the Catalan people, at 2784 m, and to the East the Mediterranean sea.

You can walk from the villa up into the Alberes mountains, and should you wish you can cross into Spain over the mountains.

SWIMMING POOL
The villa has its own private pool which is a modern salt type which is pH neutral, meaning kinder to human skin. It is a uniform depth allowing one to stand up as well as swim. There are steps at one end.
The pool is equipped with an electric submerged cover which fully retracts, this cover meets the French safety standard NF P90-308, couvertures de sécurité et dispositifs d’accrochage. The pool is thoroughly cleaned before each rental.

GARDEN
The garden has a covered terrace for dining and barbequing, and seating areas with versatile shading. The planting is still developing, but already has areas of oleander, photinia, elaeagnus and cypress, with a wide range of Mediterranean plants and shrubs including winter and summer jasmine.

For sun worshippers, there are a good selection of loungers, enough for all guests. There is also a lawned area, very unusual in this part of France and even a pétanque court should you wish to test your skills!

APPROACH
Situated well off the road and accessed via a long drive, you enter the villa through electric security gates, giving secure and easy access, which lead to a large parking area sufficient for multiple vehicles. There are twin garages with up and over remote control doors.

Steps lead to the front door with electric locking and unlocking. The rear gardens can also be accessed from the front of the villa, and on the lower level a petanque court.
